A refreshing, new approach to recruitment

About us

When we founded LoveWorkLife in 2014, we did so eyes wide open to the competitive landscape in which we would have to win hearts and minds.

With a collective 100 years of recruitment experience from our board of Directors, we not only had a clear vision, but real hard earned experience in how to deliver results through meaningful relationships with our clients, whilst creating a leading enviable company culture.

Where others saw reasons against starting up, we saw an opportunity to do things better. Validation of that belief has been overwhelming from our clients and candidates, leading to LoveWorkLife being crowned ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Global Recruiter Awards in 2016.

Our secret formula is, in fact, no secret at all.

We believe in being knowledgeable. In quality over quantity. In the power of partnerships. In hard work, resilience and delivery. We are personable, open, approachable, considerate and honest people who are passionate about what we do, and fully understand our responsibility to expertly and carefully support and guide our candidates and clients.

Meet the team

Sunil Dial

Co-Founder & Director

I spent 9 years working within the Financial Services industry, where I worked for a range of institutions such as HSBC and Barclays. I started at a local business level, moving in to senior management roles. As the Head of Strategic Development at Aldermore Bank, I was pivotal in constructing and implementing new market propositions to the Invoice Finance industry. I have been consistently a top performer, and have been successful in a range of environments from large global corporates to start ups and fast paced growing businesses. I have a unique blend of experience within credit risk, relationship management and strategic development and it is these experiences that have enabled me to build an extensive network within the financial services sector. Away from my day job, I can be found spending time with my young family. However, I am notorious for my love affair with sport and can regularly be found avoiding the treadmill at the gym, or in front of satellite television in the early hours watching live cricket or boxing.

Q1: Name 3 things you'd take with you on a desert island?

Q7. What's your favourite film?
Hmm...so many...lets go with the Matrix, makes you question a lot of things in life...and can I add Vanilla Sky, love the concept!

Q8. Who do you admire the most in your life?
Apart from my wife and kids who are superhuman (we are like the 'Incredibles'), I would have to say my parents who despite everything life throws at them are always there for us.

Q9. If you could have a super power, what would it be?
Ooooh has to be the ability to time travel.

Q10. What do you love most about your work life?
The people I work with and everyday is different or new challenge.

Peter Lowman

Co- Founder & Director

What inspires me and gives me great satisfaction is knowing that the work I do results in companies, teams and individuals achieving outcomes they often don’t think are possible. I work with Boards of large companies to develop strategies that really inspire them. I work with Business Owners on exit plans that enable them to realise their dreams. The outcome is improved business performance, profitability and value.

I truly believe that my “experience inspires success” in the people and companies I work with. I have worked on over 100 successful strategy and change programmes in companies large and small, some who operate locally and others that have an international reach. I have brought about change as CEO/MD of large companies, as a business owner and as a consultant to business. The outcome has always been improved business performance, profit and value.

LoveWorkLife facilitate change in business by involving a wide cross-section of people in the process. The top team will always take responsibility for agreeing the plans for the future of their business but they need to harness the ideas and talent they have in their business. The resulting “Vision” they decide for their business must inspire them. What inspires them will inspire everyone else in the business. In this way they can engage everyone in delivering the “Vision” and achieving and exceeding their targets for the business.

I have developed and honed my people, management and business skills and expertise in a wide range of situations – CEO/MD of major corporations, a business owner, as a consultant to businesses large and small and from working my way from the bottom to the top of business. There are very few challenges in business that I have not had to deal with.

I am totally committed to the clients who engage me whether it be a long-term assignment or a short-term project. I will work with you to develop a vision that inspires you and when implemented delivers results that will exceed your expectations. I would be delighted to have an opportunity to talk to you about your business and seeing how we might work together to achieve exceptional outcomes.

I’ve been working in the wonderful world of recruitment since July 2008 for nearly a decade with the war wounds to show, though somehow I’ve managed to keep hold of my hair, no mean feat as some of my colleagues will reluctantly admit. As a result of my interpersonal skills and previous car sales experience on my placement year of University, I decided upon a career in recruitment at LoveWorkLife in 2017 which I am very excited about.
