A refreshing new approach to recruitment

About us

When we founded LoveWorkLife in 2014, we did so eyes wide open to the competitive landscape in which we would have to win hearts and minds.

With a collective 100 years of recruitment experience from our board of Directors, we not only had a clear vision, but real hard earned experience in how to deliver results through meaningful relationships with our clients, whilst creating a leading enviable company culture.

Where others saw reasons against starting up, we saw an opportunity to do things better. Validation of that belief has been overwhelming from our clients and candidates, leading to LoveWorkLife being crowned ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Global Recruiter Awards in 2016.

Our secret formula is in fact no secret at all.

We believe in being knowledgeable. In quality over quantity. In the power of partnerships. In hard work, resilience and delivery. We are personable, open, approachable, considerate and honest people who are passionate about what we do, and fully understand our responsibility to expertly and carefully support and guide our candidates and clients.

Arron Ramsay

Recruitment Consultant - Finance

Like the other 99% of people who have graduated with a Degree in History, I left university with a totally undefined career path (along with a severely damaged liver and an unnecessarily large stack of Eric Hobsbawm books). I joined the London Branch, LoveWorkLife in December 2015 as a Support Consultant covering Sales and Finance. From the get-go, I was involved in regular candidate and client engagement where I quickly recognised my passion for building relationships, understanding business requirements and assisting clients with all things recruitment.
In April 2016, I was re-stationed to the Luton Branch of LWL where I assisted and developed a successful RPO project. Currently, I am heavily involved in account management, business development and growing a relatively new office.
Outside of work, I am a keen football fan and player still playing regularly for my local side. When I’m not playing or watching football, you’ll find me spending time with friends & family usually sipping from an extra cold Guinness.

Sharon Perkins

Recruitment Manager - Multilingual

A bubbly and customer focused individual, I excel in people contact which has been supported in my many roles held throughout my career. I have an ability to build and retain strong relationships due to my previous experiences and am driven by loyalty and professionalism. I started working at a young age and was the youngest licensee in Luton managing a number of pubs and clubs before moving on to the working at the airport. Starting as a Passenger service agent I worked my way up to terminal supervisor and then airport Duty manager over a ten year period. Throughout this time I enhanced my operational knowledge and understanding overseeing a multi-departmental operation both landside and airside. Being focused on results I am proud to say I managed the most successful shift for on time performance and had a team that was dedicated to our collective responsibilities. During this period I gained a wealth of knowledge, including training and development activities, people management and operational processes which I continue to use today in a consultancy capacity. I am very much a family orientated individual who balances work and life and I regularly support charities such as the NSPCC and the MS society which are close to my heart.

Peter Lowman

Co- Founder & Director

What inspires me and gives me great satisfaction is knowing that the work I do results in companies, teams and individuals achieving outcomes they often don’t think are possible. I work with Boards of large companies to develop strategies that really inspire them. I work with Business Owners on exit plans that enable them to realise their dreams. The outcome is improved business performance, profitability and value.

I truly believe that my “experience inspires success” in the people and companies I work with. I have worked on over 100 successful strategy and change programmes in companies large and small, some who operate locally and others that have an international reach. I have brought about change as CEO/MD of large companies, as a business owner and as a consultant to business. The outcome has always been improved business performance, profit and value.

LoveWorkLife facilitate change in business by involving a wide cross-section of people in the process. The top team will always take responsibility for agreeing the plans for the future of their business but they need to harness the ideas and talent they have in their business. The resulting “Vision” they decide for their business must inspire them. What inspires them will inspire everyone else in the business. In this way they can engage everyone in delivering the “Vision” and achieving and exceeding their targets for the business.

I have developed and honed my people, management and business skills and expertise in a wide range of situations – CEO/MD of major corporations, a business owner, as a consultant to businesses large and small and from working my way from the bottom to the top of business. There are very few challenges in business that I have not had to deal with.

I am totally committed to the clients who engage me whether it be a long-term assignment or a short-term project. I will work with you to develop a vision that inspires you and when implemented delivers results that will exceed your expectations. I would be delighted to have an opportunity to talk to you about your business and seeing how we might work together to achieve exceptional outcomes.

I hold a Master Degree in Philosophy, and soon after graduating I completed an internship in Marketing for a bilingual Cultural Institution. I also have plenty experience in Customer Service, as I was working while studying at University. I joined LoveWorkLife in November 2016, and am willing to improve my skills and experience in recruitment.
I also love reading, and when living in Italy I used to enjoy horse riding. Unfortunately, I don’t have much free time to carry on with that passion at the moment, and I try to join the gym regularly, with no great success! I spend most of my free time hanging out with friends, enjoying spinning classes and cooking.

Zsolt Jenei

Recruitment Consultant - Multilingual

I started my career straight out of High School where I moved to Cyprus and took up a role in the Service Industry. This gave me a good grounding in dealing with customers on a daily basis and also provided me with the opportunity to enhance my skills. Within a short period of time, through hard work and dedication I was able to advance my career and become a Restaurant Manager. Subsequent to this I followed my passion of driving and returned to my home country. Here I managed to secure a position as an International Driver, this enabled me to see more of the World. I travelled through Russia and India amongst other places; got to meet new people; experience different cultures and also follow my love of driving. I have always had a flexible approach to work and have been fortunate to work out of numerous locations. In 2015 I decided to relocate to the UK and look for new opportunities. One of my first roles was at Amazon Fulfillment Centre, where I was quickly promoted to Agency Manager. In 2017 I joined LoveWorkLife as a Recruiter and have enjoyed every aspect of regularly working closely with candidates to assist them in their job hunt. Outside of work, I still continue to follow my passion of driving and interest in cars. I also like to socialize with friends and always go out of my way to help others.

A well driven, customer focussed individual. Whilst at university I obtained a degree in Sport and Exercise Science. An area of which I have always had great interest as from a young age been playing several competitive sports. Since university I’ve been working within the hospitality management team at Woburn Golf Club. During my time here a lot of the job was customer service focussed, ensuring we, as a club were offering a 5 star experience. It meant I gained a further understanding of customer relationships and requirements and from this delivering customer service of the highest quality.
